Here at SIBC...
You'll hear us say, "No perfect people allowed." We say this because we recognize that no one is perfect except for Jesus Christ. You can be sure, we do want to see transformation in our lives and relationships, but we realize this will not happen in our own strength. As a result, we treasure the great news of the Gospel, that Jesus lived the perfect life that none of us could live, died the death we deserved, yet rose victoriously from the grave.
Because God has been so good to us, we want to grow to enjoy God. In fact, He tells us that He is not the enemy of our pleasure, but the grand fulfillment of it! (Psalm 16:11). So, if you're imperfect, and would like to grow in your relationship with God and others, you're going to feel right at home with us. We look forward meeting you!
