We are on a mission to #reachthebeach with the Gospel through service and caring for our community.

What is Reach the Beach?  Our mission is to proclaim and live the good news of God’s grace to the Lowcountry and beyond. We take seriously the call to love our neighbors by serving our community spiritually, culturally, and physically.

As recipients of God’s lavish grace, we are called to live intentionally and on mission. What could the Islands and Mt. Pleasant look like, as the church steps out courageously to be the good news solution to the bad news problems? When we serve together for God’s glory, other’s good, and our increased joy - we engage in God’s mission.

We want every person who calls SIBC their church home to be a part of the Reach the Beach initiative. We are praying for everyone to commit to being good news FOR people IN the Lowcountry WITH our lives and conversations.
